Beauty can be expensive -- to maintain flawless skin, you need to invest in high-quality products that don't exactly come with a small price tag. But why go through the trouble when there's a one-size-fits-all solution to your problem? African black soap benefits are undeniable, and if you haven't plugged in, Koshajay Essentials has top quality soap for you!

Everyone reacts differently to products. Therefore, even though African black soap is made using natural ingredients, it's essential to do a patch test before using it on your entire body.

Use it on a small section of your arm and wait to see if there's any adverse reaction. If there is none, you can use it on other parts of our body.

The benefits of African black soap lie in its ingredients, which includes a combination of:

  • Cocoa pods
  • Coconut oil
  • Palm tree leaf derivatives, including palm kernel oil and palm oil
  • Plantain bark, which contains iron, as well as vitamins A and E
  • Karite Shea Butter

Keep in mind that the ingredient makeup of black soap largely varies based on the region of Africa where it’s made. For example, plantains are found in Central and Western Africa, but not in Eastern Africa.

Real, unprocessed African black soap has a rough texture. Although the natural texture is ideal for removing dead skin during exfoliation, you’ll want to smooth it out before using it as a regular cleanser.

Use this soap to cleanse face and body. African black soap has been used for generations to address the following skin issues:

🌿Dark spots and discoloration
🌿Itchy skin
🌿Sensitive skin
🌿Oily skin/face
🌿Sensitive skin
🌿Makeup removal

How to use the Black Soap:
For best results cut a small part of the soap lather with warm water using a wash cloth, your hands or sponge.

🚫**Do not apply bar directly to onto face.

TONER: Because African black soap is alkaline, it tends to throw off the pH of your skin. To counteract this, dry off your skin after cleansing it and apply a toner immediately. It's best to go for a toner that's rich in soothing ingredients like rosewater and witch hazel as opposed to alcohol-based toners, which can be quite drying.

MOISTURIZE: Always use a light moisturizer after using African black soap. The moisturizer not only helps restore any moisture that was stripped off during cleansing but also acts as a sealant to seal all the good stuff you just added to your skin.

When natural soaps remain in water between uses, they become soft and do not last as long as they otherwise would. Grab a low-cost & easy-to-clean soap dish that will allow the water to drain off.

From time to time we may have ingredient changes to some of our products due to newer more natural raw materials or botanicals becoming available. These changes could make a product look slightly different from its predecessor in color, fragrance and texture, but rest assured the performance of the product will be the same or better with the ingredient change.

NOTE: Raw black soap, like any natural soap, may have a thin white coating of soda ash on the outside on all or part of the soap. It sometimes forms when the soap comes into contact with the air. It is rinsed away after the first use. Since this is naturally occurring and is not a defect, no refunds will be made if your bar has any soda ash on it. If you don't want your soap to possibly have soda ash on it please don't purchase this raw black soap.
